Information & Resources

The Information & Resources strand provides information, advice and guidance to young people (and to those who advise young people) about HE, the experience of being an HE student and about the Aimhigher programme, in a range of formats, by

• researching the information needs of teachers, personal advisers, school/college widening participation co-ordinators, parents/carers and pupils in target schools/colleges
• responding to the information needs of the above by providing advice on, for example: 
              -      Methods of identifying WP cohorts 
              -      HE entry requirements 
              -      Financial aspects of HE 
              -      Admissions and UCAS procedures 
              -      Disabled Students Allowances
• disseminating information, in a variety of media, about aspiration, awareness and achievement raising activities to target schools, colleges and the wider community
